Wedding Photographs
Your wedding photographs will last forever to remind you of your wedding day so you want them to be special. Accepting friends offers to take the photographs is generally not the best idea as they also want to enjoy the occasion and you can’t be sure of the results.
When choosing your photographer ask to see their portfolio and also ask for a photo list of the photo’s they usually take. Every photographer does things differently so make sure the one you pick knows exactly what you want. Decide how you want your group photos taken. Do you want the brides family alone and then the grooms family alone and than one all together? Make sure things are clear so there is no confusion on the day.
My cousin was married recently and she hadn’t discussed how she wanted the group photo’s with her photographer and they were a disaster. The photographer left the grandparents on both sides of the family out of the photos and then photographed them alone so there were no photo’s of the family as a whole.
