Bride Wedding Speech

Its not traditional, it's perfectly acceptable for a bride wedding speech at the rehearsal dinner or wedding reception.

Here's what to do.

Thank Your Guests

This doesn't have to be any more than two sentences and it doesn't have to be brilliant, just sincere. It helps if you make eye contact with a few guests you know and love. "It means so much to (groom's name) and me that you are all here to celebrate our marriage. You have each made this day very special. Thank you for being our guests."

Thank Your Parents

Include your new in-laws. Forget any trouble you've been having with them. This is a gesture you will not regret. "And to my parents, your unconditional love and support has given me a strong foundation on which to build my marriage. All my love and thanks to you. (In law's names), my father and mother-in-law, thank you for raising (groom's name) to be the wonderful man that I love so much. "

Toast Your Groom

After you say a few personal words, give it a big finish by memorizing a quote or poem.

"And to my new husband, (groom's name). Time may pass, fortune may smile, trials may come. No matter what we may encounter together, your love will be my only love. I have made my home in your heart. "
